Sikhism doesn't discriminate on the basis of different religions. Sikhs believe that it is your deeds which will guide you to heaven, not your religion. So you can be a Christian, Muslim, Jew, Hindu, Sikh, Atheist, Agnostic, etc; all will be judged on the basis of their deeds, not on the basis of what religion they follow!
This is a comment left below Utube vid I think by it's very nature they will be happy it is shared.

hi Robin , i'm so delighted to hear you also appreciate her angelic voice. To me it's like her heart has been touched by God's love and her singing lifts one there. My auntie is very ill and I sent her the Long Time Sun and left the Mothers Blessing on my facebook page for her to find and she loved them. The magic is I had wanted to make her a mind movie to help, though I lacked the knowhow and then I stumbled across Snatam and her videos for the first time, from going to Awakening. They are so much more than I could have created. I feel lifted into a state of grace by them and want to share them, especially with people in need of healing.
Whilst I am not Sikh I very much believe in the principles expressed above and have studied different
religions to better understand each their expressions of wisdom and their oneness in essence.
I feel she conveys those principles beautifully and shows us a little more of the heart of Sikhism.
I am also delighted to find a Sikh sister has joined us here. I see you have much wisdom and healing to share and I look forward to learning from you.
Blessings to you dear sister in light.

Dear Teri,

Oh I am so delighted to read your words. I am so happy to meet someone who would be interested in Sikhism. Though I am quite liberal in matters as religion and like following and reading some other religions myself but being born to this, it remains strongly in my center. And I so loved the way its sung. I have been sharing it with my father back in India:)

Love to you sister too.x

Dear Robin
I understand, I was brought up in the Christian tradition I am grateful it was a mixture of denominations so I never felt the conflicts that go on. It has been challenging at times to step outside of a religion that sees itself as the only way. Now I see it differently partially because direct experience of the divine shows one that the divisions are illusory. Also because if one sees beyond what churches and man have done to the teachings one can see it was not what Jesus was saying. He gives us the story of the good Samaritan the person of a different religion who lives more truly to it's principles than those who call themselves by it's name. Also He said 'I give you but one commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you'. I look and see these principles expressed by people of different religion and even in those of no religion. We all come from the same source that source is love we are love we have just forgotten. Now we are remembering reawakening. If you want to see a little more of my journey I opened up about it under Awakening. You can see I have had some big challenges to the beliefs I was brought up with.
I would love to learn more about Sikhism from a soul sister we grow so much through sharing and understanding.
love is eternal.

Hi Cindy and Teri, yes Cindy it's perfect and accurate. Thanks for sharing. Yes Teri, Prasad means grace for food & usually offered as blessed sweets by God at the end of prayers. But here its taken for the meaning of simply blessings by God. Love to you both.xx
