I have finally made the decision to hire out my Chi machines after getting such feedback from people with so many health problems. I will only be able to do this in Edinburgh. My Problem is how much do I charge? Usually people are charged

£ 20 for 15 minutes when they come to me.

I will be taking it to their home and doing a health assessment to make sure it is appropriate for them and then advising on the use. I will also be in communication throughout the week/s to  keep an eye on them. This machine will then be able to be used at least 3 times a day.  After I had loaned it out for free to people with ME I had someone post about it on Facebook on an ME site so I came up with the figure of £40  for 1 week or £60 for 2 weeks as she is on benefits. I had my hand snapped off! I need to make sure if I do this that I get enough back to replace or buy more machines so am looking for advice.

The cost of the machine is around £450 and people can buy through me and get a 14 day trial but this is trying to reach those that do not have that amount of money spare. I actually bought mine on my Credit card after 2 years of thinking I had not enough money. Boy do I wish I had done it previously! I now have unlimited use when my back has a problem and the rest of the time it's such a relaxing feelgood period especially when the energy flows at the end.

So if anyone has any advice on what should be my charging policy I would be very grateful. I want to make it affordable but I also need to cover myself.

I just wanted to add if you know anyone with M.E or Fibromyalgia both have a great response from this machine. In fact my Daughter has just been diagnosed with both and will not give me one of my Chi machines back. I have to say she uses it for all the family. Her uses include headaches, stomachaches, low energy and all types of pain.
