Matrix Reimprinting in action and healing in progress!

I'd like to share with you an experience I had at the weekend.  I had the opportunity of delivering a 30 minute talk on EFT & Matrix Reimprinting at Mark Abadi's Holistic Social & Networking event in Altrincham.  I have been meaning to get to this event for ages but only managed it this weekend. 

The sun was shining and, as I arrived there were lots of other people arriving and chatting in the car park.  They all knew each other and I felt a bit daunted as I thought I knew no-one. Once inside, I recognised someone I had met briefly about 3 years ago and that daunted feeling began to subside.  I mentally "tapped" on what was left and brought it down to 1 from 8 (on a scale of 1-10).

There was lovely food to share and interesting conversations going on all over the place.  Lots of the people there had been before and knew each other. There was that feeling again!  More tapping and release of the tension  I was feeling.

The way that Mark organises his day is really interesting as he groups the talks together and the speakers have to make their pitch in advance to attract people in to listen to them!  I delivered my pitch at the designated time and went off to listen to someone else deliver their talk in the first time slot. 

My slot was next and I collected my notes (made to prevent me going off on a tangent) and returned to the room to wait for those to whom I had successfully pitched.  I watched as the room filled up with lovely like-minded people who wanted to listen to me!  Guess who was the most surprised person in that room. Yes, me.

You could have heard a pin drop as I talked about Matrix Reimprinting interspersed with my own examples and learnings. I talked for about 25 minutes (not hard for me!) and was conscious that there were questions in the room.  I took a number of questions which brought up and cleared aspects for other people and felt satisfied that I had done well, but the best was yet to come!

I was accompanied back to my table by a couple of people asking questions about my talk.  I then went to listen to another talk and when I came back to my table there were people waiting to talk to me.  I did a quick session with someone which almost blew him away (see picture above) and then continued to chat to a stream of people until it was way past time to leave.

The point of this, and there is one,  is that I have attended many talks and workshops and have queued up to ask a question or watched as people did but, on Sunday, I was the person that people wanted to talk to and ask questions of. 

How far I have come?  How far have you come and not noticed it? Probably a lot further than you are aware of or acknowledging. 

Gratitude to Mark Abadi for organising his event and for the people who came.  I've had more than a few "aha" moments since Sunday.
