Consciously Creating Connective Community
Emotions ... oh my gosh emotions. Just when you think you’ve got yourself sussed and all in order, another little bubble surfaces up in to the conscious mind to tug at our heart strings and fill our eyes with tears. It’s the healing onion at its best. Layer by layer and tear by tear. Will we ever get to the inner sanctum of a peaceful healed heart, or will we just wade through our hurts and our memories and our vulnerabilities in a never ending cycle of trying to release and move on but never actually getting anywhere? Well, of course, we will ... if we really want to. Our own healing is ultimately down to us. Nobody else can do it for us.
So once we decide that we want to be free and unburdened from our own limiting beliefs and negative perceptions, we have to actually face them. We will have our breakthroughs and the onion will get smaller, but as we get closer to our heart... the emotions and issues become a whole lot more intense. So what to do? Why, we have to FEEL it all of course. This is what life is all about. This is what we have chosen to come here and experience. This is what we are here to learn from. It’s not just about the joys, successes and loves in our life, it’s about the struggles, challenges and those overwhelming emotions that mold us into the person we are in this moment. I am no longer the person I was 2 months ago. I am not even the Sally of last week. I am me, in this moment because of what I have experienced in my journey to get here. And the biggest challenge of all ... is to accept myself and to love myself for who I am and where I am. Loving those parts of me that I am afraid to show the world... loving those parts of me that aren’t as fluffy and luvvy duvvy as I would wish ... especially my seemingly inexplicable impatience of slow walkers in the middle of pavements!
But the more accepting and loving we are of ourselves, the more easily we are able to accept and love the world and people around us ... no matter how slowly they walk.
So go on, try it. Welcome those painful surfacing emotions and embrace the healing they represent ... and set those memories and experiences free to be healed by the angels and the Universe ... and then start loving and accepting yourself for who you are and where you are in your life. Because you already are, Perfect and Amazing. Believe this and live this, and you might be surprised at how your world will change for the better.
My love and hugs always
