Made my way to your website Dearkindreds and found it absolutely inspiring and refreshing.  I realized while reading all the blogs about how attuned a person can become with nature and mother earth, and realized that I have two choices to make of this experience before me:  I can choose to see this person as someone that has lost contact with reality (just another flowerchild). The second choice is to embrace this experience and at least try to experience this closeness and connection with nature myself.  And I just knew that if I try it myself, I would "get it".  Thus both choices are valid, since you are the creator of the experience around and inside of you. The sad part is the immense and beautiful experience that we miss by not choosing or trying option 2.

Hello Stephanie,
Thank you for the welcome. I was drawn to your picture with your arm round a tree. One of my particular interests is the wonderful world of the tree, both temperate and tropical. Having the blessing of living in Cheltenham and having such wonderful access to the lovely countryside. I have friends at Temple Guiting some 20 miles away and for me it is my spiritual home. There are several areas where there is the most glorious ancient trees being Oak and Beech. When I walk through the ancient wood with a canine at my side, I am in another wonderful world and with touching the trees I can speak to God. This brings such divine togetherness with nature. The countryside is unspoilt and has a long history relating to the Templers of which I have made an indepth study.
My particalur intererst in a tropical tree is the magnificnt Baobab of Africa,Madagascar and North-West Australia. I have been researching the Baobab for 35years and more and have made many good contacts in various countries where we share information. I hasve had the chance to go and see the Baobab, but turned the offers down. Reason being is that for me the journey is better that the arrival.
