Hi,
Does anyone know a cure for cat allergy? This is something I suffer from.

have you looked at homeopathy . Does it happen with all cats as it would be natural to be allergic to the chemicals in flea collars for instance. Pantathenic acid B5 is worth checking out, helps with some. Is it your only allergy. Any emotional event underlying it like getting badly scratched when stroking your favourite pet when little. There are other supplements that can help. New Era tissue salts are helpful with hay fever. so you may find either the same one or another in range helps. They are cheap and easily available. love Teri
Hi Staurt,
I am a Kinesiologist and have helped people with allergies and know of people who have been helped with Kinesiology.
Best of luck.
Hi Stuart
Emotional Freedom Technique is great for allergies. As Teri said this could be an emotional event that could be specific to a cat event or a pattern match for the cat. Vibrationally there is something that is putting a button in you when you connect to their energy field and often in my experience of working with EFT it isn't what we think it is.
Hope that helps
love Jo

This may be a bit late, but I too have allergies to cats which bring on asthma. I got a rescue cat, who I love but have started getting allergies/asthma badly. I don't want to give him up so my naturopath has put me on mega doses of vitamin 1000 mg C/D three times a day, aged garlic twice a day, B-Complex to help my immune system stay strong. Also, most importantly "Querticin" 500mg three times a day which is a natural suppliment found in apple skin/grape skin/onion. It works as a natural antihistamine/antioxidant/immune builder. I have to say...its tough going, some days better than others, but I am in my 4th week and have been told it takes up to two months for your body to finally not be sensitive to the cat. Also, buying a hoover with a Hepa filter is great at picking up fur/dander allergens. Good luck...hope this helps :)
I have used kinesiology to help people with allergies including a cat allergy.

Thanks for all your suggestions, I'm probably going to use EFT to see if that will cure the allergy. To answer your question Teri, it is my only allergy (I think) and it's worse with hairier cats more than short-haired. My eyes get itchy and my nose starts to run.
