Hi Terry. Interesting dream. To me it would indicate a lot of sub conscious issues and fears are "coming up" out of the depths for resolution.

You have several symbols all meaning very similar things. Sea, boat, whales, all spiritual symbols. Whales represent channelling/mediumship ability, as does the number 2 (a mammal that lives in a water world and 2 - 1 foot in 1 world and 1 in the other) So you as a spiritual vescle (boat) (and again 2 of them) are more out of your depth than your comfortable with and this invites fear(sharks)...but the fear is actually trying to help you survive (Whales).
As this is all happening under water it suggests sub conscious fears related to spirituality. There may be past life memories of being attacked and threatened for helping somebody using mediumship in europe...Im guessing Wales or new south wales (thats just a guess). No one being on shore and being seperated from shore suggests the nature of the fear is fear of lack of support and fear of being out cast or abandoned because of mediumship ability and linking this in with death (bodies).
So we may have a situation where Terry says I love spirituality but subconsciously we have the programme running that spirituality is linked with fear and death.
So I would suggest tackling the fears (EFT the dream images and feelings) and ask for guidance from the realm of the whales and dolphins.

Two nights ago I had this dream....

I was in the ocean swimming when I saw a big black fin heading towards this small boat that was further out from the shore than I was. I at first thought "shark" and was yelling towards shore for help for the small boat.

When I turned back to the boat I realized that the big black fin was headed towards me. I turned back to the shore and started yelling for help again.

There was no longer anyone on shore and then I noticed 2 other big black fins/bodies closer to shore. Between myself and the shore line.

I then knew these were not sharks but whales. When I turned back to where I thought the small boat was, that whale was almost upon me.

Then suddenly the ocean water rapidly started to rise and I was bing pulled out to sea. In this dream it felt very real. I wasn't witnessing this. I was experiencing it!

The whales took turns keeping me above the water and I knew they where trying to save me.

I was so scared and of course this is where the dream ended.
