GENERAL  PLANETARY INFLUENCES 6-12.2.2012

The Sun is now halfway through humane, charismatic & abstract Aquarius, with a need to freely express ourselves, & a unique outlook on people & situations.  The Moon begins the week in changeable, emotional, sensitive Cancer.  Tomorrow it moves into bossy, exuberant, melodramatic Leo, with a Full Moon, that can make us over-react.  Thursday it moves again into responsive, querying, analytical Virgo.  Saturday it moves again into charming, harmonious, peaceful Libra, finishing the week there.  Mercury remains in friendly, innovative, quick-thinking Aquarius, with some novel ideas probable.  Venus remains in emotional, responsive Pisces until Thursday, when it moves into impulsive, passionate, sensual Aries, with intense feelings.  Mars remains in detailed, hard-working, practical Virgo, with some problems taking the initiative.  It’s now Retrograde, for about 6 weeks, and shows a need to be more careful, & try to avoid extremes if possible.  Jupiter remains in Taurus, generous, sensible, humorous Taurus for some months, with a love of life, & creature comforts, and acquiring bargains.  Saturn remains in courteous, fair-minded, pleasant, but serious Libra for some time yet, giving flexibility. Uranus also remains in energetic, courageous, self-willed, proud Aries for some considerable time, well beyond this year with rebelliousness, or disruptions from our usual routine.    Neptune is now in sensitive, intuitive Pisces, & can help us gradually develop more empathy, compassion, & build understanding, with a need to remain realistic.  Pluto remains in Capricorn for the foreseeable future, showing knowledge gradually acquired on deeper levels, & realistic ways of recycling practically.  Planetary aspects this week are:-  Sun & Mercury conjunct:- Stressful situations handled in practical ways.  Sun & Mercury inconjunct Moon today – A need to accept people & situations as they really are.  Emotions & intellect may clash at times.  Moon & Mars sextile today – A need for positive dealings & happy relations with other people.  Moon & Saturn square today – Seriousness, with a strong urge to get ahead.  Moon & Jupiter square Tuesday – Hasty, possibly regrettable decisions might be made.  Moon & Uranus trine Tuesday – Curiosity, knowledge is taken in & other people listened too.  Moon & Neptune inconjunct Tuesday & Saturday – A naturally sympathetic approach to other people.  Moon & Pluto inconjunct Tuesday – Old habits may get in the way of doing things.  Moon & Jupiter trine Thursday – Confidence & positive dealings with other people.  Moon & Pluto trine Thursday -  Positive will is used to overcome problems.  Moon, Venus & Uranus inconjunct Thursday – Other people’s needs may be put first, whether they deserve to or not.  Any emotional problems need to be overcome, to enjoy leisure time.  Moon & Neptune opposite Thursday – A need for creative outlets, but also realism about people & situations.  Moon & Pluto square Saturday – Intense emotions may cause problems with loved ones.  Moon & Jupiter inconjunct Saturday – Possible discrepancies in emotional responses to stimuli and how these are understood.  Moon, Venus & Uranus opposite Saturday – Some discord in relationships, despite trying hard to please.  Possible conflict regarding emotional matters. Venus & Saturn inconjunct – Excessive responsibilities may feel like a burden. Venus & Mars still opposite – Any emotional conflict arising needs to be resolved in some way.  Venus & Pluto square from Thursday – Emotional problems in relationships could be built out of proportion.  Jupiter & Neptune sextile – A more imaginative, hopeful outlook for the future.  Jupiter & Pluto trine – A powerful exuberance inspires other people.  Jupiter & Saturn opposite – Possible difficulty in recognizing personal limitations at times.  Uranus & Pluto remain square - A need for independence, dislike of restrictions.  Neptune & Pluto remain sextile long-term – Understanding & acceptance of world changes affecting everyone.

ARIES     21 March - 20 April

You enjoy spending time with like-minded friends, as you need to mix with others, & having timer for personal interests.  You might feel emotionally isolated, imaginative & impressionable, & get easily bored at work.  You still have to try & budget, but a partner offers ongoing support, & you’re still erratic, independent & perverse.  You’re focusing on long term career issues.

TAURUS    21 April - 21 May

You may now start to progress in your career, taking on extra responsibility, but needing mental stimulation from your work.  You’re affectionate with friends, but need to seem them as they are, & if single could meet someone new.  You remain positive & optimistic, even if your work is boring, & your intuition is deep.  You may enjoy studying, but could be obsessive at times.

GEMINI    22 May - 21 June

You may be enjoying a winter holiday or planning one, or need to increase your knowledge in some way.  You have many professional responsibilities & may wonder about a change of career, & also have a lot going on at home.  You need to find time for you, to focus on your interests & to enjoy time out with like minded friends.  Seeking power in a relationship can cause jealousy.  

CANCER    22 June - 23 July

You may find your emotions rule you, & you try to rationalise them, but deal with business matters well.  You might get involved with someone from a different background or beliefs, & express your views firmly.  Time out with old friends relaxes you, when family drains you, & you display great leadership skills professionally.  Try to avoid getting belligerent with a partner.

LEO     24 July  -  23 August

You have a very positive relationship with a partner, & a share understanding about most matters, talking them through.  You may over react emotionally though, & are careful with your money.  You’re very ambitious, driven & hard working, but will only say what you want people to hear, & have an original, visionary approach.  You concentrate well, are disciplined & need a routine.

VIRGO     24 August  -  23 September 

You do well when working creatively, or helping others, & take a practical approach, but need a sense of proportion.  You share a close, romantic bond with a partner, & may be a egocentric, or self centred.  You enjoy travelling & are philosophical, with a practical, business like approach, & may gain money in unusual circumstances.  You feel very emotional about certain people.

LIBRA    24 September  -  23 October

You enjoy your leisure time, & getting out, are proud of your success, & communicate very positively.  You might have to watch what your diet to avoid allergies, & hide your feelings to avoid rejection.  You manage joint business & finances well, but may feel pessimistic at times, & need time to do your own thing in a partnership.  Home life may feel frustrating on occasion.
